EMERGENCY FIRST AID




All Morris County Park Police Officers are trained and certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and in the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Training: First responder at the Police Academy, regular refresher in CPR / AED. The department currently has one first aid and CPR instructor and one emergency medical technician (EMT). EMT Training: 110 hours initially, 10 hours prehospital trauma life support training, 16 hours defibrillation, 48 hours State re certification every three years.
