Morris County Park Police
DETECTIVE BUREAU
The Morris County Park Police Detective Bureau consists of two full time Detectives, one on each squad. Each Detective operates under the direction of a Detective Sergeant. County Park Police Detectives work closely with the County Sheriff's Office, Prosecutor's Detectives and Municipal Detectives. These officers are responsible for investigating all crimes occurring within the park system and conducting follow-up investigations on incidents reported to the department. Detectives are also responsible for all background checks for potential job candidates and also conduct background checks on alternate route candidates for the Morris County Police Academy.
